The studio has completed over 300 projects and currently engages in 70-80 ongoing endeavors across 10 Indian states and the United Kingdom.
In this dynamic landscape, Design Genesis X Studio stands at the fore front, leveraging cutting-edge technology to shape the future of architecture in India.

The team invests time, curiosity, and empathy, unraveling each client’s narrative. Whether it’s a tranquil bungalow or a bustling institution, the studio tailors its strokes to fit unique requirements. Here, architecture isn’t formulaic it’s a symphony of personalization.
Beyond aesthetics,Design Genesis X Studio embraces sustain ability. Collaborating with contractors, MEP consultants, and structural design studios, the DG ensures seamless execution. From London to Lonavla, the studio architectural compass points true. The DG is well-known for its diverse portfolio, which includes proposals for institutions, malls, and bungalows. Design Genesis X Studio works on multinational BIM projects with the UK based company Z Pods.
The Noteworthy Projects
‘G.D. Goenka International School at Gandhidham, Gujarat (Illuminate Minds and Shape Futures)’, is an architectural marvel that transcends mere functionality. Its intersecting façades, like the intricate folds of origami, create a futuristic exterior, an invitation to curiosity. Through generous expanses of glass, natural light floods the interior, illuminating learning spaces and fostering a sense of openness.
The green roof, more than a mere design feature, becomes an ecosystem. Here, students engage with nature, their footsteps
softened by the verdant carpet. Solar panels, discreetly integrated, harness the sun’s energy, powering not just the school but also young imaginations. The rooftop garden, accessible and inviting, serves as an outdoor classroom, a place where equations are solved, poems composed, and friendships forged.
Inside, and the central OAT (Open Air Theatre) beckons. Its soaring height, bathed in sunlight, feels like a sanctuary, a place for chance encounters, impromptu discussions, and delving into the act of creating a better tomorrow. Comfortable seating nooks dot the space, and the OAT isn’t just a thoroughfare; it’s the heartbeat of the school.
Wellness is at the core of this architecture. Abundant natural light and fresh air spills across classrooms, casting gentle gradients on walls. Education here isn’t a race; it’s a journey. Accessibility is a commitment, as ramps wind gracefully, elevators glide silently, and adaptable classrooms flex to accommodate diverse needs, With the help BIM every beam, every curve, every hidden conduit has been meticulously planned. The result, a harmonious whole, where form and function breathe together.
“In this holistic design, the G.D. Goenka International School Gandhidham is n’t just a building; it’s a promise. A promise that education transcends walls, that learning is both art and science, that futures are shaped here”, asserts Ar. Abu Bakar, Founder & Director of Design Genesis X Studio. The school is a fusion of form, function, and environmental stewardship.
In the heart of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, stands another ‘G.D. Goenka International School (Cultivating Minds, Nurturing Futures)’, a testament to sustainable architecture and holistic education. It is to prepare students for a rapidly changing world while fostering a deep connection with nature and community.
It has an innovative form and the tilt, breaking free from fixed grids. It minimizes solar gain while bathing interiors in diffused light. Secondly, a subtle westward tilt shields most areas from direct sun. The form itself becomes a strategic ally, ensuring comfort and energy efficiency.
Like vital nerves, concealed services ensure seamless functioning. Plumbing, electricals, and infrastructure which are unseen yet essential, while recharging with rainwater harvested quenches the schools water demands supplying water for irrigation, toilets, and washing machines. With a Solar Canopy, atop the structure, photovoltaic panels harness sunlight, generating electricity while offering shade solving a dual purpose. Finally, the Eco-Display Dashboard allows for real-time data to track efficiency. Energy usage, water consumption, waste management are all transparent and part of the learning experience. This school at Hardoi, is a beacon of academic and architectural excellence.
Immersive Experiences
Design Genesis X Studio dreams big, working towards launching VR experiences. Virtual reality (VR) headsets transport clients into their future spaces. They could walk through corridors, visualize sunlight-dappled walls, and breathe life into blueprints. 3D printing allows for miniature models that fit in your palm but hold the capacity to let you envision the length and breadth of the project. At DG, architecture isn’t static; it’s a visceral encounter.
Architect's Vision
Ar. Abu Bakar, the studio’s visionary, sums it up, “We are not just architects, we are storytellers. Our canvas- Space, Our Palette-Technology”. In this symphony of pixels and passion, Design Genesis X Studio envisions and creates a future where buildings transcend bricks and mortar. They become experiences which are immersive, transformative, and time less.
