The Client Engagement Process
Coming to rentals, after the initial approach, an exclusive agreement is then signed with the owner before the team at Octopus Estates creates a ‘Know-Your-Owner’ document for the client’s background verification. Later, an inventory inspection is done to verify if the property is in good condition.
Once the verification is completed, the property then gets listed by the firm for potential tenants. After the site visit, the firm again creates a ‘Know-Your-Tenant’ document for background verification purposes for the interested potential tenants.
After the verification, a rental agreement gets signed between the client and the tenant. All financial transactions happen directly between the client and the tenant. Once the inventory inspection is completed and approved by the tenant, the firm takes a percentage of the rental amount as a brokerage amount.
