This is where Team One Arteq excels, crafting modern, high-caliber solutions for complex architectural and urban planning projects. Over the years, the firm has applied its design sensibilities across diverse sectors, including Pharmaceuticals, Media, Finance, Logistics, IT/ITeS, and BPOs. This cross-industry experience has enabled it to specialize in designing green buildings, institutional and technical structures, and cutting-edge data centers as well. Whether designing an industrial facility or an eco-conscious space, Team One Arteq seamlessly blends creative vision with technical precision to deliver spaces that are both sustainable and impactful.

Partnership Fuelling Success
Team One Arteq celebrates a remarkable milestone this April as it completes 25 years since its inception on April 1st 2001. What began as a bold vision has grown into a distinguished second-generation design practice, shaped by the leadership of Bharat S. Yamsanwar, Parish Kapse, and Aditya Yamsanvar, each bringing a unique lens to the firm’s evolution and growth.
Bharat S. Yamsanwar, Principal Architect (B.Arch, PG Dip, TCP, TTP, FIIA, FIITP), is a seasoned architect and urban planner with four decades of experience. His work spans master planning, new town development, site planning, and landscape architecture across diverse urban and suburban environments.

Parish Kapse, Co-Founder, Partner, and Director of Sustainable Designs & Architecture (B.Arch, GDPM), brings two decades of experience integrating ecological parameters into architectural systems. His expertise lies in smart building strategies, energy modelling, and the Nexus Concept, all contributing to sustainable and policy aligned design. He is also a member of CoreNet Global and GRI.
Aditya Yamsanvar, Partner and Director of Experiential & Wellness Designs, adds a future-facing perspective with over 16 years of experience in developing integrated, technology-enabled workplaces. His designs converge organizational strategy, spatial innovation, and user wellbeing, creating interdisciplinary environments that foster creativity, performance, and wellness. He, too, is affiliated with CoreNet Global and GRI.
Together, the partners bring a global outlook shaped by advanced education and diverse professional exposure. Their design philosophy is grounded in thoughtful research, focusing on user behaviour, spatial purpose, and long-term adaptability. Rather than simply meeting client requirements, the team takes a strategic advisory approach, questioning whether those requirements truly align with user needs, and designing future-proof spaces. This approach has led to enduring client relationships, with 40–50 percent of clients returning for new projects.
Designing Across Scales for 25 Years
Over the past two and a half decades, the firm has evolved across three core domains. The first focuses on large scale urban, city and master planning projects that cover vast areas and contribute to shaping the future of towns and cities. The second area centres around architectural design, encompassing a diverse portfolio of institutional, commercial, residential, and civic projects. The third is a strong interior design practice, with a particular emphasis on corporate fit-outs and work place environments that balance function, brand identity, and user experience.
What sets Team One Arteq apart is its ability to operate seamlessly across these verticals, offering integrated solutions that are visionary and practical.
With offices in Pune and Mumbai (headquarters), the firm has steadily expanded its geographic reach, now servicing all major cities in India. Its portfolio includes over 500 completed projects across varied sectors, supported by a team of 100-150 professionals. Along the way, Team One Arteq has also earned 24+ industry recognitions for its impact and excellence.
Empowered from Within
Team One Arteq takes pride in the strength and continuity of its people. Of the 100-150 team members, nearly 70-80 have been part of the journey for over a decade. This longstanding association reflects not only strong values set by the founders but also a culture that encourages growth from within. Many who started as junior architects have evolved into unit leaders, empowered to make decisions and lead independent verticals. Internally, the structure resembles a network of mini-startups within the larger organisation, each led by seasoned professionals who carry the legacy and agility of the firm forward. Whether it’s exploring new markets, responding to city expansion, or launching new design directions, Team One Arteq fosters an environment where ideas are backed, and leaders are trusted to run with them.
Buildings of the Future
Looking ahead, buildings in India are poised to become far more intel -ligent, not just in terms of integrated technology, but also through the use of AI and sustainable design, supported by the growing influx of international investment. If the financial momentum continues, India could see the rise of architectural landmarks that can compete with the best global structures that are smart, self-sustaining, and designed with a zero-carbon footprint in mind. Airports, for instance, are already moving toward energy neutrality, generating enough power to support their operations independently. This evolution is not just about innovation, it’s about redefining what future-ready infrastructure means for India.

The Road Ahead
As the built environment enters this next chapter, Team One Arteq sees a significant opportunity to shape it from the ground up. While the firm has long worked with clients across continents, the coming decade presents a uniquely compelling moment within India itself. With infrastructure expanding, new urban development taking shape, and the demand for high-quality design accelerating, the studio is doubling down on local partnerships and collaborating with global architects returning to contribute to India’s evolving landscape.
On the innovation front, Team One Arteq is actively investing in research to integrate AI into its architectural processes. From layout planning and 3D visualisations to cross-sections and elevation design, the firm is exploring how AI can improve speed, precision, and efficiency, without compromising design integrity.
This vision aligns closely with the Prime Minister's call for techno -logical advancement and data sovereignty. As India experiences a surge in large-scale data centers, Team One Arteq is actively contributing to this transformation by designing intelligent spaces tailored to the needs of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and international firms setting up operations in India. The firm is building smart future-ready workspaces that combine innovation with local insight, designed to address the evolving needs and opportunities of the years ahead.

What Clients Say
As TOA enters its 26th year, its reputation is shaped as much by its work as by the relationships it has built. Clients across industries like tech giants, startups, institutions, and developers praise the studio’s ability to pay attention to detail, translate vision into reality, and deliver thoughtfully designed spaces. A Cognizant client shared, “It only took one meeting to realize that TOA’s talent far exceeded the other architects I had interviewed. I have been continually impressed by their attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to balance client desires with incredible design”. Others speak of the team’s refined balance between design excellence and user-centric thinking, like eBay, which noted, “The building is detailed thoughtfully with an eye toward simplicity, durability, and most importantly, flexibility. The staff finds the building comfortable and accommodating”.
The firm doesn’t just capture the brief but also the intent behind it. “We are proud and appreciative of our association with TOA and their team, who understood and thoughtfully interpreted our dreams, going well beyond our expectations”, shared MSL Group.
Clients like Devendra Deshmukh praised the “timely visits, professional attitude, and the impressive final look” of their workplace, while Johnson Controls India’s Managing Director described TOA’s service as “exceptional, matched with excellent quality of work”. In the words of IBM, “I have worked with quite a few architects over the years, and TOA was extremely accommodating. They are concerned with your ideas, not just their own. They stayed within budget, made fantastic recommendations for designs and use, and were available for all kinds of questions about resources and materials”. This level of trust and responsiveness is what has made 40–50percent of clients return to Team One Arteq for subsequent projects. As it steps into its 26th year, the firm continues to build on its strong foundation with the same collaborative spirit and commitment to excellence that defined its inception.
